Blood Warfare of WW2 (+4Small-thumbs-up)

When it comes to CoD: World at War, you have to say that this is the bloodiest WW2 game yet... or maybe not. Besides that, WaW burrows a lot of traits from his brother: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It's just some how used in a different way.

Time to kill some Nazis again, plus Japanese.
Well, it's there and back again for Call of Duty to return to the era of World War 2. The game focuses on two soldiers: one American soldier in the Pacific Theatre and One Russian soldier during the start of the end of the Reign of the Nazi Empire. The game attends to switch between the two soldiers after certain missions instead of actually letting the players continue on the same soldier, since both are basically far away and at different time-lines. Either way, you will just be killing more Germans, and this time the Japanese, with their sharp A.I skills.

They just keep coming!
One thing to notice is the return of the invisble spawn line. This actually hasn't been used in a while since CoD 3, but this basically means that if you don't cross a certain line, they will just keep on coming. Yep, you can mow down hundreds of Japanese and they can still have infinite left. That's how hard it is depending on the diffculty.

If music back then was like this...
The game is great with their voice actors. Thing is that the music feels a little out of place. Listening to some of the tracks, it seems they were trying to build up adrenaline towards the player. It actually works at some points; still, it would help if they could ease on the rock music. It's badass, but still, it doesn't bring the "Call Of Duty" spirit.

Another thing is that the graphics have improved from CoD 4. Everything looks so shiny, giving somewhat a realism point. Some areas are indeed very good on details. Although, CoD: World at War uses the same cinematic scripts like CoD 4. But still, it feels... epic in some sort.

You, me, and 2 others; In the lines of war!
If you got 3 other friends, you can play coop on the single player campaign or the other coop mode: Nazi Zombies. Oh yeah, it's fun to shoot them in the head while trying to survive endless rounds of Zombies. It's actually pretty fun, but the split screen tends to be a little strange at first. Besides that, it's pretty much the only thing that separates this game from Modern Warfare: CooP and Zombies.

Extra, Extra! Multiplayer feels the same!
If you've played the mutliplayer on CoD 4, you won't feel much different in CoD: WaW. It's just the same perks [plus some brand new ones] and the same modifcations on weapons, just all set in WW2. Oh, and there's drivable tanks. BOOM! Take that! You can also do single-player campaign with 3 other people you don't know and try it on competive or cooperative scores. Yay, I can level my rank while fighting the Japanese with strangers I don't know!...

If the game added more content instead of taking some things from its brothers, this would of gotten a perfect review. But instead, it uses some mechanics from the old [CoD 3] and especially the new [CoD 4] and places them into the bloody warfare of WW2. It's not bad, it's great, but it's not perfect.
