This game is centered around the alien and the predator franchises. As this game was a great game for the time and the game play really Smooth moving. The Gore was intense. Being able to blow off any body part was indeed an awesome way to have fun. The game allowed you to play as all three of the races in the game. unlike many other AVP games. The only real bugger of the game were the damned face huggers. The ability to 1 hit kill you was even more annoying than pyros. Being practically tiny they were hard to hit with there speed. and the only real way to tell if one was there was the sound they made. The game also had video logs, real people acting in the videos on the TV screens and great cinematic openings and endings. There was no shortage of weapons. there wear probably more weapons in AVP gold than tf2 and its updates. A marine had: Pistol, rifle, smartgun, grenade launcher, sticky laucher (no kidding), dual pistols, minigun, flamethrower (I laugh thinking about it because if you W+m1 with the flame thrower youll light your self on fire.), skeeter launcher (a disk that was a heat seeking rape object), and a rocket launcher called a sadar.
A predator had: wrist blade, disk, shoulder cannon, and elctro-mortar pistol, spear gun, healing stuff.
Alien: Claws , 1 to 2 hit kill charged tail attack, The classic face bite.
Hell this game could keep you entertained for hours.
