GameSyn was not the first community banner we gathered under. The first community was called Dusk til Dawn and it started with a Condition Zero server, a good bit of friends and an awesome NeoWC3 mod made by syphilis. The original founders were Luckydog, Tiki Toker and syphilis. This community lasted for some time with syphilis and asceth taking over as the main site administrators when Luckydog and Tiki Toker could no longer be as active as they wished.
Syphilis had started new servers with the HL1 mod Zombie Panic and it became an instant hit with the Dusk til Dawn community and attracted new players. At this time we now had Stigma, Uzuki, Grim, asceth and syphilis as administrators to the community.
Soon though syphilis also was sucked into the married life with a new job and while more active than Luckydog and Tiki Toker could be at the time he too had to pass up the reigns of the community's successful Zombie Panic servers to Grim and let asceth, Stigma, Uzuki and Grim take over as the site administrators.
As time went on things became a little rough with ideas of the Dusk til Dawn webserver being shut down by Luckydog and ideas were formed and controversy was abound in the following months between the founders, admin and community. When the webserver randomly went down one day and no one could be contacted about the situation the admins decided it was time to break from Dusk til Dawn and form a new community that we could maintain and keep up ourselves.
And so, in 24 hours on February 19th, GameSyn was founded.
